A-PAD is a UK Joint Venture between Kajima and Central and Urban, delivering new affordable apartments and residential developments.

Kajima is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Tokyo listed
global real estate and construction giant Kajima Corporation. Kajima invests in and develops across a broad spectrum of real estate interests throughout the UK and Europe, with a focus on Social Infrastructure, Regeneration, Living, Logistics, Renewable Energy and Offices. Across the UK and Europe the business is currently developing in excess of £1.3bn worth of real estate and has over £6bn of assets under management.

The UK has an acute supply shortage of affordable accommodation and increasing demand in most UK geographies.   

A-PAD’s primary purpose is the development of new residential apartment accommodation in city / edge of city locations for shared ownership / affordable rent / PRS tenures, working with Institutions, Registered Providers and Local Authorities.   

A-PAD has ambitious expansion plans to deliver 1000’s of new apartments in UK towns and cities.   Phase 1 is the North West, building on the significant development track record of both companies in this area.
